1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using MeetMood (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

MeetMood recommends activities, outings, and places near you based on your mood, budget, distance, and preferences. Recommendations are provided for convenience only; we do not own, operate, or guarantee any venue, event, or third-party service shown in the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use MeetMood. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time from Preferences → Delete my account.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local law.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
Do not harass other users or submit abusive, false, or misleading content.
Do not scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the App's data without our written consent.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

MeetMood offers an optional premium subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Content

Activity data may come from Google Places, Foursquare, Ticketmaster, and similar providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, pricing, or safety of any third-party venue or event. Always verify details (hours, price, booking) directly with the provider.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetMood and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any activity or venue you discover through it.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec (Canada), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
